The best part of Remy and his friend groups day was reading their soulmate quotes when they first woke up. The second best part was sharing with the others what they all said.
Virgil, Remy's cousin, got a lot of space and science related fun facts, mentions of his soulmate's moms, and them correcting other people. Virgil thought it was pretty funny that both him and his soulmate had no dad.
Emile, Remy's childhood best friend, got a lot of weirder or creepier fun facts, bad or unsafe ideas, and terrible innuendos and weird flirty remarks. Emile often joked that their soulmate would get along way too well with Remy, which usually resulted in a playful shove from him.
Patton, Emile's older sibling and Virgil's best friend, got a lot of Disney and musical references, stuff in spanish and french, and angry reactions to someone names Remus pranking them. Patton was very impressed that their soulmate spoke three languages and was very excited that they both loved Disney.
Remy got a lot of sarcasm, talks of philosophy and psychology, and exasperated remarks towards someone named Remus. Remy was very confident that his soulmate and Patton's soulmate knew each other since they both had to deal with someone who is seemingly annoying named Remus.
Remy had a folder of photos on his phone that was just pictures of funny (or sweet) quotes he woke up to on his arms.
"Remus, please torment Roman either later or elsewhere, I am trying to read." (Remy was pretty certain Roman and Remus were related somehow, probably twins.)
"Logan, dear, can I please come in? It's just me, but your moms are worried about you since you haven't left your room since yesterday." (Remy's soulmate used petnames all the time. He found it kinda sweet.)
"You can come over again after school today, Remus, but you have to promise not to stain the carpet again. My parents almost killed me last time." (Remy was both very curious about what Remus got on the carpet but also did not want to find out based on some other things he knew about Remus.)
"Sweetheart, you have to eat. I know you're busy working on a project but that doesn't mean you can ignore your basic needs, Roman." (Remy's soulmaye tended to argue frequently with Roman, but also clearly deeply cared about him. This is only one example of that.)
"Logan, it is your turn to break up their arguing, I did it yesterday. I am aware you always join their arguments, I mostly just don't want to get up." (This one made Remy actually burst out laughing.)
"Angie, this is lovely! Did you make this? It's amazing, I'll cherish it forever." (Remy was pretty sure that Angie or Angela was his soulmate's little sister. She's a decent amount younger than Remy and presumably his soulmate, but Remy's soulmate was so sweet to her.)
Remy was confident that once one of them met their soulmate, the others would trickle in. The universe is funny like that. Giving the four of them a four person friend group as their soulmates is definitely something that would happen.
He hoped, at least.
