Summary
He feels as if he is suffocating, dying under an unseen weight. His heart hurts and every possible part of his body aches. This is too easy. Too hard.
'Prove it,' he asks in a breaking voice, he begs. In the end, Remus made him beg.
His hand shakes but he doesn't lower the gun, holding the barrel to Remus' forehead. How did they get themselves into this situation? He wonders if this is how he will die, breaking his own heart, aiming even though he cannot pull the trigger.
