The following week after Inuyasha divulged the truth regarding who he was? Kagome couldn't help but want to compose a love poem for him. She worked exceptionally diligently all weekend to give it to him by Monday. She was so intent on finishing it that she skipped dinner and even threw the trash can at her little brother when he told her it was time for dinner.
Finally, on Monday, she slipped Inuyasha her poem before school started. He took it gingerly and began to read the words of love she'd composed for him. His heart beat faster with every verse, and even his breath hitched as he read what hadn't come from Kagome's lips.
"Snow-white hair and eyes of gold.
He feels he's alone in this world.
Though he has a mother's love
And his father watches them from up above.
He has a human heart and demon blood.
Which will he favor, and who will he love?
The blades are split in two, but which one is to you?
Can you face what you fear?
Or is your reflection something you never want to get near?

As soon as the half-demon prince finished the poem, he grabbed his girlfriend tightly and gave her the most incredible kiss. Some things don't need words, but when you do, use them. They have power like no other!
