“NO, NO NO !” Klaus shrieked, tears threatening to fall as Luther grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and lifted him onto his shoulder like a sack of potato’s.
After Luther locked Vanya in the vault because of her powers Klaus had been waiting for the right moments to sneak in and break her out.
He knew more of what Vanya was going through than anyone, what it was like to be locked up and afraid of your own powers.
Turns out he probably should’ve waited for Ben to come with him to let his ghost brother give him a heads up if Luther was coming back down.
Klaus saw Vanya’s horrified expression as she started banging harder on the door, her eyes filled with tears and she kept mouthing the words ‘help’.
Klaus could do nothing as he was slowly carried away from the vault, he tried clawing and kicking, shouting insults in multi different language’s as he rapidly punched Luther’s back, knowing that it wouldn’t do anything.
“Luther let me go you asshole we need to let her out !” Klaus yelled angrily as he bit Luther’s ear to try and get him to drop him. Luther tightened his grip significantly to the point where it hurt so much Klaus was gasping for air.
His struggling started to die down knowing that he couldn’t win in a fight of strength against Luther but his sobs only increased, he hated feeling helpless.
“She needs to be contained Klaus.” Luther said in a gruff voice, Klaus watched in horror as Vanya started hyperventilating banging on the door with all of her strength, tears running down her face.
He was in no better shape, practically being squeezed to death by his brother to the point of not being able to breath at all. He needed to get her out of there.
“Dammit! She’s scared and needs help Luther! I thought I was the family’s dumbass!” Klaus yelled giving Luther a kick to the stomach.
That’s when an idea popped into Klaus head, quicker than he thought humanly possible he put a finger in his mouth and stuck in down Luther’s ear making him let out a large gasp and dropping Klaus to the ground with a loud *thud*.
Using Luther’s dazed state to his advantage Klaus bolted back down the hallway towards the vault, he practically body slammed into it when he couldn’t stop himself in time and he let out a hard laugh.
He snapped his fingers to successfully get Vanya’s attention and gave her a small warm smile before latching both hands onto the wheel and started pulling. The wheel didn’t even move an inch.
He was to focused on opening the vault that he didn’t see Vanya trying to warn him about Luther coming closer to him until it was to late.
Luther grabbed his neck and lifted him up off the ground and away from him just enough where Klaus’s kicking and punching couldn’t hit him.
Klaus could see the horror, fear and rage in Vanya’s eyes as she started banging on the door again. He could read her lips and noticed how she was now screaming ‘put him down’ over and over again.
Now Klaus was more pissed at Luther than scared, the fucking cycle was practically repeating.
“LUTHER YOU STUPID EXCUSE OF A FUCKEN SCIENCE EXPERIMENT PUT ME DOWN BEFORE I- BEFORE-“ He couldn’t think of anything to threaten him with. His was panicking and his breathing was starting to become laboured.
“FUCK!” Klaus gasped, unable to sum up the courage to look at Vanya. He knew none of his siblings would be able to hear him screaming.
This was going to leave a huge hand bruise on his neck he realized. “YOUR AN ASSHOLE!” Klaus cried as he tried punching him, despite knowing that trying to convince him to put him down was useless.
Until an idea popped in his head, he might not be able to call his living siblings but there was one he could always rely on.
Without second thought he took a deep breath and yelled at the very top of his lungs that felt like they were on fire.
“BEN!!”
Klaus had tears running freely down his face. God he must look to pathetic right now, a few seconds later a worried looking Ben appeared in front of them.
It took a moment for him to take in the scene but his worry turned into absolute furry in less than a second. It was so unlike him that it almost made Klaus look away from him.
“Would you stop !” Luther hissed at him, now using both of his hands to hold Klaus in front of him. The look of pure rage on Luther’s face made Klaus gulp.
He knows he shouldn’t try to agitate Luther anymore, he was in no position to fight him and even if he was the chance of him winning would be slim to none.
He also didn’t want Vanya to be forced to watch.
“I’m sick of you talking about Ben all the time like you can see him !” Luther yelled, and Klaus couldn’t help but roll his eyes. “ We’re leaving .” Luther stated.
“Oh yeah I-it’s not like I’m the one who actually has the power to s-see the dead or anything !” Klaus yelled back at him, trying to kick Luther unsuccessfully in a poor attempt to be put down, before continuing. “ ALSO I’M FUCKING 10 MONTHS OLDER THAN YOU ASSHOLE, YOU CAN’T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!”
“Klaus what the hell is happening !” Ben hissed. If looks could kill, Luther would have dropped dead on the spot with the glare Ben was giving him.
Klaus tried to laugh but he ended up sobbing, he eyes were blurry and he could barley make out Bens image because of his tears.
“Your high aren’t you? ” Luther said, tightening his grip on Klaus neck before seemingly remembering that he has super strength and dropping Klaus onto the stone floor in his panic, Klaus, Ben and Vanya all let out a loud gasp.
“Holy fuck ” Klaus whispered as he tried to catch his breath. “ Holy fuuuuuuuck !” He repeated louder, feeling a bruise the shape of a hand already forming on his skin. He started giggling historically.
“Five’s going to skin you alive when he finds out about this monkey man ~” Klaus sang, looking up to see Luther disappointed scowl. “ Hey, let’s make a deal, you let Vanya go and we’ll forget about this whole thing, yeah ? I’ll even convince Diego to forget about it so you won’t get skinned by Five!’ He said, getting himself into a sitting position and pointing to Vanya while giving Luther a cocky grin.
“Five would agree with me .” Luther said like it was obvious. “And even if he didn’t I’m number one so I make the shots when it comes to this family .” He spoke with a hint of pride in his voice.
And out of everything that’s happened today, THAT was the last straw.
Klaus saw RED .
Klaus pushed himself up, ignoring his aching ribs from being dropped so many times, and walked straight up to Luther putting his finger in his face, completely forgetting that Luther could snap him like a toothpick.
“Listen here you fucking piece of monkey SHIT.” Klaus sneered. “Five would have NEVER agreed to this and way deep down somewhere in your hairy ass gorilla body you know it.” He could see Ben with his arms crossed over his stomach nodding his head beside him.
“We haven’t seen each other in years and suddenly you decide to play leader again? HA! Man your funny Luther! Never knew you had a sense of humour!” Klaus said as he rolled his eyes, he jabbed his finger into Luther chest.
“Your not dad so get off of your high horse Number 1.” Klaus sneered, as he moved his hand to rub his neck.
That was when an idea popped into Klaus head.
He knew something no one else except him, Ben and Luther knew.
“If you don’t let Vanya out of that vault I’ll tell everyone that you popped your cherry last night~ ” Klaus sang, taking a few steps back from Luther to see his horrified expression, ha! worth it!
Luther’s face changed from red to purple in less than a second and it would have been hilarious if not for the situation he was in. Fear shoot through him like a bullet when Luther took a threatening step forward.
He quickly backed up until he was pressed against the door of the vault and watched as Ben put himself in between the two of them as if he could stop him.
“You wouldn’t .” Luther half yelled half whispered, the panic could be heard in his voice. Klaus laughed and crossed him arms, trying to act as though he wasn’t about to piss himself,
“Wanna bet? I mean I got no money on me at the moment but -“ he was interrupted when Luther lunged at him both of his arms reached out to grab him. Many things happened in those few seconds.
Before Luther could make it to him Ben used his powers and a large tentacle knocked Luther away from Klaus, sending flying him across the room, the force of the blow was so much that Luther was sent through the wall making the buildings skake. Vanya stood there slack jawed looking at Ben, and Klaus screamed and Klaus ducked down, bringing his hands over his head and drawing his knees close to his body to make him look as small as possible.
Suddenly he was back on the battle field, bombs going off left and right, they’re were people screaming he couldn’t tell if they were dead or alive the ground shook and everyone was running, not even sparing him a glance.
He lifted his head and saw that multiple people surrounded him, all of them dead. They were screaming his name, trying to grab at him and begging him to help them.
“I-I can’t …” Klaus whispered, shrinking in on himself more when the ghost started screaming louder, squeezing his eyes shut. “ I- I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry-“
He could hear someone talking to him in a soothing voice.
“Klaus, you okay, we promise, we knocked him out, we don’t know how but we did it, you need to calm down so we can get you out of here.” He recognized that voice, slowly opening his eyes he saw a Ben with a wary expression on his face, his hand was on Klaus’s shoulder.

Both of Bens eyes were completely black, slowly going back to their normal Blue colour.
Klaus blinked owlishly for a moment before looking at Bens hand, a sob escaped his throat and without second thought he jumped up and wrapped Ben in a bone crushing hug which he returned just as fiercely.
Tentacles started wrapping around him and it was than did Klaus notice that Ben was willingly using his powers, he started giggling, Ben doing the same and soon his giggles turned into hysterical laughter that filled the hall. He saw his hands glowing a bright blue that only got brighter every second.
They stayed like that for a few minutes in silence Ben mumbling encouraging words as the tentacles retreated back into Ben stomach until Ben spoke up.
“ What the hell were you even doing down here?”
It took Klaus a few seconds to register the question before he shoots upright, tripping over his own feet as he stood up, grabbed the wheel and pulled, he watched as Bens hands landed beside his and started pulling with him.
Vanya was looking at them with a hopeful expression, well mainly looking at Ben but Klaus was there.
“Why couldn’t this this just have a doorknob?” Klaus said, slipping and letting go of the wheel, falling flat on his ass. He looked to Vanya and realized that she stopped crying and was entirely focused on Ben who was still pulling on the wheel.
“Oh !” Klaus gasped, pulling himself up to face Ben. “Get Jamin to help us!” He said, like it was the smartest idea he ever had, and it might have been if only Ben knew who Jamin was.
Ben stopped trying to turn the wheel and looked at Klaus with an unimpressed expression. “ Klaus, who the fuck is Jamin?”
“You know Jamin!” Klaus said, eyes narrowing in frustration as he started making hand gestures to Bens stomach. He stopped and sighed when Ben didn’t seem to catch on.
“Your Ben ” Klaus said slowly as if talking to a child, he than pointed to Bens stomach. “They’re Jamin ” he clapped his hands together. “Ben, Jamin, Benjamin! It’s perfect wouldn’t you agree?”

“Did you really just fucking name them Klaus?” Ben asked in genuine curiosity, he could fell the eldritch agree to the name under his skin making him shiver.' Jamin it is then' Ben thought to himself.
The eldritch always was protective and fond of Klaus, even before his death.
Klaus gave him a cocky smile and shrugged, pointing to the vault door. “Well? Are they up for it?” He asked impatiently, looking at the huge hole in the wall as if expecting Luther to try and stop them, not that Ben would let him.
Ben could feel the eldritch confirm that it wanted to get Vanya out of the vault, but Ben knew it was only because they wanted to get Klaus out of here as fast as possible and he wouldn’t leave without Vanya.
Without answering Klaus’s question he closed his eyes and let the eldritch open the vault, he heard Klaus squeal with joy when he saw it.
It took ‘Jamin’ quite a lot of time to open the vault because it couldn’t get a firm grip but once it did it pulled so harm that the vault door flew passed Klaus. It would have hit him if he didn’t duck downcast second.
He watched as Vanya came barrelling towards Klaus and wrapped him into a hug sobbing, repeating ‘I’m sorry’. Klaus wrapped his hands around her to return the hug and they stood there for a few minutes before he fell to the ground, taking Vanya down with him.
“k-Klaus !” Vanya squeaked as she was carried down with him, she got a good look at him and gasped.
Klaus was as extremely pale, his hands were glowing a bright blue and he was sweating, his breathing was laboured. She gave him a small shake to try and snap him out of his daze.
“I’m alright Van Van…” Klaus gasped, “Just need to c-catch my breath…say hi to Benny boy before he disappears…” He pointed to Ben who was standing my the vaults broken door.
“Ben… ?” Vanya said, as he peeked her head out of Klaus’s shoulder, Ben gave her a small smile and waved.
“Hey Vanya …” He took a few steps backwards when the eldritch started making it’s way towards Klaus, Vanya saw this and instantly let go and Klaus and backed away from Ben.
‘Way to ruin a moment’ Ben thought to himself.
Suddenly he could feel the fear coming from the eldritch, as it stopped making it’s way towards Klaus who was barely keeping himself upright now that he wasn’t leaning on Vanya.
Ben watched in horror as Klaus’s eyes shut and he fell backwards.
The last things Klaus heard and saw were Vanya and Ben yelling his name and tentacles wrapping around him to stop him from falling.
Then it all went black.
