"Subaru, what is that?" Reinhard asked, pointing to a green metallic cylinder.
The newly appointed knight stared at the object in bewilderment. "Is that Sprite?"
The 'Sprite' in question had strange symbols surrounded by a rather dynamic border. Near the top of the object, there was a depiction of what Reinhard could make out to be a simplified citrus fruit. A small amount of condensation had begun collecting on it. Subaru appeared to have some level of familiarity with it.
"What the goddamn fuck," Subaru whispered to himself.
"Subaru?" Reinhard asked, snapping him out of his swear laden muttering.
"It's a drink. Here, let me show you." Subaru walked towards the Sprite and pulled a tab upwards, causing a crackle followed by a fizz to ring out. Subaru handed the can to him.
"Put the hole to your mouth and take a sip." Reinhard complied.
The first thing Reinhard noticed was how chilled it was. Cold treats were typically few and far between. He had found shops that sold them near the border between Lugunica and Gusteko. Their stock was limited however, as long-term storage wasn't exactly possible without the use of fire magic.
The drink's pleasant chill along with its sweet flavor and refreshing fizz provided a rather unique experience. Reinhard soon found himself drinking more.
"There is not enough coff in this world for me to deal with this," Subaru stated tiredly.
Reinhard placed the empty can on the table.
"I wonder if i should mass produce this?" Reinhard asked to himself.
