Kakashi finds a bruised and beaten Naruto in an alleyway while out shopping for Icha Icha paradise books and takes him home. When Naruto starts to grow on him Kakashi realizes that his inner wolf has claimed him as his own. Something Kakashi can't ignore unless he wants to risk going feral on the ones who take him. And so the battle against the council for custody over Naruto begins. Between Naruto's power growing and rescuing three other kids with family issues, two being socially inept and the other flinching at loud noises, Kakashi knows his life is about to become chaotic.
