Lucanis Dellamorte needs a vacation and invites his best friend Rook Ingellvar to his estate for some rest and relaxation. Rook accepts knowing they have an Illario shaped hole in their heart they want to try and fill. Illario doesn't know about the heart hole and fills others instead.

Summary
Two months following the end of the Twin Blights and the War against the Evanuris, Neve and Rook travels to Kirkwall to attend Varric’s funeral.
Dignitaries from multiple nations are expected to attend, but Neve is not in the mood to mingle with people, familiar faces aside. All she wants is to attend in peace, to treat this like a short break.
But of course, fate says differently. The Viscount of Kirkwall has gone missing, and Neve and Rook are once more dragged into a mystery that involves a lot more famous people than either of them would have liked.
So much for wanting peace.
