“My grandpa is dying,” Kacchan finally replies once they’re alone, with no inflection whatsoever. “We’re gonna stay with him over the summer.”
Izuku’s hands fly to his mouth. “Oh, no, Kacchan, I’m so sorry! Are you—”
“Take your pity and fucking shove it,” he snaps. “Let me finish. I was saying, the old man’s so old-fashioned, he wants to see me with a girlfriend before he goes.”
Izuku closes his mouth, still picking up the threads of how this involves him. Kacchan does not like women. He and probably the whole school know this from the second year sports festival, during which Kacchan had said as much in his opening speech as top student. Typical Kacchan. I’ll defeat you all, while being gay! Izuku holds in a half-exasperated sigh at the memory.

Katsuki needs a boyfriend for the summer, and Izuku is more than happy to oblige.

They make a spectacle on the landing deck on the Scions of the Canopy. Ajaw flung himself to the floor immediately, and everyone ogled him, either because artists’ renditions of what him as a human had already made their rounds; or because Kinich had a passenger.
Kinich, adept at managing the peanut gallery, chose to ignore the stares. Ajaw looked distinctly more uncomfortable, and he was turning something more reminiscent of his former body (a sickly shade of green.)
“All that swinging made me nauseous,” Ajaw groans. “I’m walking the way down.” He said in a tone of voice that challenged Kinich to take any other direction. Kinich was tempted, but perhaps there was a little bit of a sadistic part in Kinich that had enjoyed Ajaw clinging onto him for once like he was a lifeline.Ajaw's bout as a human leads to some interesting affects.

The touch was static, even though it was the softest thing. They both sharply inhaled, lightning on their lips, but it got swallowed by the roaring applause. Neither Scaramouche nor Sethos joined the crowd, keeping their fingers linked.
“Scara—”
“Just…shut up,” Scaramouche whispered, eyes pinned to the stage. “Just one minute, for once.”
