His fingers shook as he brought them to his chin, searching for any leftover morsel. His hunger was a writhing thing in his belly, spurred on by this luscious, delicious new meal.
Just a taste, that’s all it should have been. A one time thing to make him stronger. Yet he found himself desperate for this not to be the case.

The vampire spawn is stunned into silence. Looking around, he realizes that he knows this area - it’s where he fell from the nautiloid and somehow landed without breaking every bone in his body. He’s wearing the same clothes, the same shoes, the same cheap dagger in his hand. “This isn’t happening.”
“It is.”
“You’re telling me that I’ve gone back in time nearly half a year?!”
“Yes.”

A tangled story with many point of view switches between characters and plotlines that all come together. I love all the characters in this game and highlighting various relationships, romantic and platonic. It's been described as “wholesome”, “sweet”, and “filthy” and I suppose all of those are true!
