Iorveth doesn’t laugh or anything so crude, but his eye narrows in grim satisfaction, mouth moving like he’s holding in a wild grin, and a pang of shame and hunger lances through Roche.
“And what,” Iorveth asks, stepping even closer, so that Roche has to either stare at his stupid tattoo or tip his head back, exposing his throat to look him dead in the eye, “are you going to give me in return?”
