Summary
Basically the title. Mabel is high, the convenience store is haunted, Dipper is panicking, calling Grunkle Stan and wondering what he's doing. Stan might be watching The Duchess Approves, but this time he's not so engrossed in the movie that he actually picked up the phone and talked to Dipper. Once he finds out what's happening, he immediately knows he needs to come help take care of Mabel.

She thought this was done. Apparently not. Her breathing hitches as she breathes in, and she gets an urge. She tries to squash it, she really does, idly scratching at her arms through her pajama sleeves, but ultimately she fails, just like before. Just like all the other times.
She’s pretty good at failing, at fucking up, making bad decisions. It’s kind of her forte.

He stares at her, incredulous, and she laughed, throwing her head back.
“It's true, it's true! My name is Mabel Pines, and one day, though you may not believe me, you and my Great Uncle Ford makeup… And even if you never did, you wouldn't have been alone. Because you would- will- have me and my brother, and we're not leaving for anything, okay?”
“You're pulling my leg.” Stan deadpanned.
“No, no, I'm serious!” She grinned.
“...Okay, so you're crazy,” Stan mutters. Mabel laughs.
“Maybe. You don't have to believe me, not really. You just need to keep hope. And when our parents call and ask for you to take us for the summer- marital problems, you know how it is- just know that when you accept, you're getting two amazing niblings that will change your life for the better! So… Grunkle Stan, won't you try? For that hope?”
She held her hand out to him, and he stared, not sure what to make of it. A moment later, he laughs- taking the hand as he does so. “This is either the strangest way a stranger has talked someone down from suicide, or you're really my niece from the future.”

“She was,” Ekko responded — absurdly, he knew, to her, but achingly true to him, as he gazed up at Powder, with her shining smile and her bright eyes that he had so adored over his weeks with her. “I’m — I’m sure of it,” he added on hastily, if only so that he didn’t get sent back to a healer to get his brain checked.

The first time Cole saw himself in the mirror, he almost didn’t recognize his reflection. Green mist where his face was supposed to be, his skin see-through like a dusty window, even his black gi tainted in an otherworldly glow. He looked in the mirror, and a ghost stared back.
But in the end, his sacrifice was worth it – they defeated the Preeminent, they exiled the (other) ghosts from Ninjago, and most important of them all, Lloyd was safely back with the team. And with no imminent threat on the horizon, maybe it was time he began his journey to self-acceptance.
Being a ghost should come with some benefits, after all. Even if sometimes the cons seem to outweigh the pros.
Even if it feels harder and harder to hold onto his humanity with each passing day.
Even if the others seem to be forgetting about him a lot more frequently recently.

Mabel is transported to a dark, unfamiliar forest and must fend for herself against an unrelenting subterranean creature. I basically tried to keep this story as close to the tone and content of the show as possible and it could probably be slipped into continuity anywhere during the first half of Season 2. I wanted to give Mabel the opportunity to have her own supernatural adventure without following Dipper on one of his.

“Oh, they’re just being weird about my fake grave again,” Stan says dismissively. He kicks at the stone and takes a minute to decide whether or not it’s worth trying to prop it up again. In the end, he decides to go ahead and make the effort, if only so Mabel and Dipper won’t give him the double puppy eyes when they come back from their weird mold adventure.
When the rock is sitting up on its base for the second time, Stan realizes that Ford has gone painfully quiet.
