Summary
I run through bushes and endless trees, ignoring the burning pain of each thorn slicing through my torn jeans and skin. The sun is down but, the moon is missing. Even if I’m in an endless pitch of darkness, my heart races and I continue running as if I know my goal. But I don’t. Fear poisons my blood stronger than any heroine could. My head is floating and my legs are numb.
