Ears burning, Ricky turns back to anxiously glance at Yujin. Yujin’s already staring at him, expression pinched with something that makes Ricky’s heartbeat race with anxiety. “Uh,” Ricky coughs, and tries to arrange his features into something respectable. “Your brother is a shithead, haha.”
Yujin scoffs. It makes Ricky feel like shit. Why are teenagers so god damn powerful? “Please, you are not fooling me.” Yujin mumbles, looking out the window. He’s got one airpod in. Somehow, that's the part that stings the most.

it hasn’t even been a month since they’ve made things official, although considering the date-not-dates and cuddle sessions that became a regular occurrence in their relationship long before that, gyuvin asking ricky out in a flood of heartfelt and slightly concerning messages was more of a formality of anything else. being boyfriends, though, means that they can do a lot more than just holding hands and sneaking light touches over clothing.
“right,” gyuvin says, pulling back from ricky’s neck with his tongue running over his reddened lips, “there’s no need to rush things.”
his face hovers right over ricky’s for a second, gaze slowly roaming upward until they make eye contact. ricky is the one who breaks it, head turning to the side as he tries to hide his smile against the sheets. “and if i wanted us to move a little faster?” he murmurs.

Summary
Ricky impatiently taps his foot. “Care to explain yourself, or do you need me to file a restraining order?”
In that moment, Gunwook envisions two paths laid out before him. One is a flower road illuminated by the lights of fireflies and fairy wings and singing woodland creatures leading him to the holy grail of the ultimate bro code. The other is pitch dark with thousands of gleaming eyes, rustling wings, and sharp bared teeth waiting to pounce on him for having the audacity to throw his best friend under the bus. The correct path is extremely obvious.
“Gyuvin paid me to,” Gunwook shamelessly fesses up. Call him Judas because betrayal has never tasted so good.
Or, Gunwook is a stressed, broke, and starving college student, and Gyuvin offers to solve that in exchange for spying on his crush.

“You’re the one who’s 68% rope bunny.” Ricky says the last two words in English and Gyuvin feels his ears burn. He hates that he knows what that means now. He hates that he’s only ever heard it said in Ricky’s voice—when they first did that accursed kink test together, Ricky had to explain the definition through wheezes after Gyuvin stupidly said, rope bunny? Oh, that sounds cute.

Summary
To be clear, Ilya is grateful the rookies aren’t growing up the way he did in the NHL. Ilya took the hazing to the chin – humiliation rituals, beat downs, grueling practices to prove he could “hang” with the big guns on the team.
That being said, there’s still some part of Ilya that balks at the request by the gaggle of rookies to watch The Iron Giant, a veritable children’s movie at the team’s latest movie night.
OR: Five times Shane and Ilya were the support system for the Centaur rookies they dreamed of having when they were younger.
