Summary
Zvláštní odbor pro vyšetřování obdrží případ, který zavání nevysvětlitelnou rituální sebevraždou muže homosexuální orientace. Z jedné sebevraždy se stane série a Zhao Yunlan tak musí společně se profesorem Shen Weiem nalákat pachatele na jejich domnělý dlouhodobý vztah. Během vyšetřování však vyjde na povrch mnohem víc než jen Shen Weiovy dlouho utajované city.

Povídá se, že vždy jednou za rok spojí bůh lásky Yue Lao dohromady muže a ženu, kteří jej požádají o lásku. Takoví vyvolení pak spolu prožijí šťastný a naplněný život. Kdysi dávno Yue Laa požádal o lásku jistý mladík. Bůh lásky mu však pomoci nedokázal a mladík se tedy uchýlil do chrámu, kde úpěnlivě prosil boha o pomoc. Bohu Yue Laovi se mladíka zželelo a vzal jej k sobě do služby, aby mu pomáhal nalézat nešťastným lidem lásku, dokud ji bůh nenajde i pro něj. Mladík souhlasil a stal se jeho věrným pomocníkem…
