“Is this…” Arthur starts. The sword drops in his hands, his grip loosened by disbelief. “Merlin,” he tries again, and tries to steady his guard. He has to ask, has to hear it and know. “Are you...are you the one responsible for all of this?”
He gestures at the room with his sword, trying to encompass everything from the pitcher pouring a goblet of wine on the table, to the corner where a cloth is vigorously polishing Arthur’s boots.

"You have to really think I'm an idiot," Mirabelle continues, voice steady as she talks over the protests falling out of his mouth. "Honestly, you resign from heroics and suddenly there's a new vigilante following me around- Isabeau, do you think I'm THAT stupid????"

Being a freshly-resigned superhero is hard enough, especially when your whole life has been geared towards becoming a superhero. Of course, Isabeau had to go and make it worse for himself. Now he’s balancing part-time vigilantism, having a full-time nemesis, hiding his identity from his roommates and, most importantly, finding a job.
(aka, isabeau tries his best, siffrin tries to kill him poorly sometimes, mirabelle tries to keep everything under control, and the internet does its thing)

The House of Change falls to the King, and Mirabelle is forced to flee her home.
