Once, the Galeborn Repository stood as one of Mondstadt’s greatest prides—second only to the House of Daena in Sumeru. It was more than a library; it was a sanctuary of thought, a public archive where citizens, scholars, and wanderers alike came and went freely. Within its vaulted halls, the past and present danced in harmony, each scroll and tome a verse in the city’s ongoing song. It was a fortress of wisdom, open to all, revered by many.
But all that changed when Durin rampaged across Mondstadt.
In the chaos of the dragon’s rampage, the Repository burned. Mondstadt mourned not only the loss of lives, but the erasure of memory—centuries of knowledge reduced to smoke and ash.
