Summary
Will looked Mike up and down, brow furrowed.
“You’re not Mike.”Mike blinked. “Pretty sure I am. And you’re not Will.”
Will turned away, pacing the length of the room like a caged animal. “You’re not my paladin,” he said, voice tight. “My paladin isn’t this dense. Or this… stunted. He would have gotten me home by now.”
The words hit harder than Mike expected.
He told himself it shouldn’t matter. This wasn’t his Will — not really. Not the soft-spoken boy who blushed when their hands brushed. Not the one with the quiet sarcasm and the shy little smiles meant only for him.
His Will was kind. Gentle. A little awkward, sure — but never cruel.
This version didn’t even hesitate.
Mike swallowed past the sting in his throat. For a second, he almost wished Will had yelled instead. Anger would’ve been easier than this cold, distant disappointment.
But this Will wasn’t looking at him like a person.
He was looking at him like a mistake.

Summary
Derry has always been a terrible town. Bad things happened there as if they were attracted to it, inevitable — and for Stanley Uris, it only got worse when you're the rabbi’s son, trapped in rigid traditions and heavy silences, and discover you're gay in 1993, three years after the struggle against what they swore never to mention again.
This is the story of Stanley Uris, a 16/17-year-old boy who constantly tries to be someone he’s not.
The story of how he fell in love with his best friend.
And how that slowly destroyed him.
Between fear, guilt, friendship, religion, trauma, and the weight of being a teenager in a world that doesn’t want him as he is, Stan tries to survive his own thoughts — and the inevitable love he feels for William “Bill” Denbrough.Bookmarked by valenbedumb
