Iwaizumi, aged five, meets Oikawa, also aged five. It's a normal sunny day; and in welcoming their new neighbors, Iwaizumi inevitably gets shuffled over to meet the Oikawas and their son. Their son, who's regretfully one of the biggest brats he would ever meet. (Unfortunately, Iwaizumi doesn't know that at the time, or he would've ran the moment he spotted Oikawa bouncing over.)

Summary
Operation Guard Dog was when an ANBU changed places with the asset to provide the asset with an additional layer of identity security. It was rarely used because it required that the asset be skilled enough to pass off as ANBU and the need to protect their identity outweigh the dangers of masquerading as ANBU.
It was fortunate that Minato-sensei had insisted on wearing the ANBU uniform, Kakashi thought to himself.

It does the trick, those narrowed eyes lighting up and rounding. Better. Sae’s eyes naturally narrow, his gaze always flat and impassive. Rin’s eyes are better suited to shine like this, pleased with the praise. If Sae were more normal, he would’ve showered this boy with affection, until Rin was fat and spoiled on sweet words.
Rin mumbles through an embarrassed pout. “Thank you, Nii-chan.”
