Summary
Post canon fic about Robert managing to convince everyone on the Z-Team he’s a Beta until they catch him red handed.
“This is fucking stupid.” He says, aggravated.
“No it fucking ain’t you suicidal prick.” Chase snaps back at him. The older man is definitely angrier than he’d been a few hours ago, far more irritated compared to when he’d first shown up at Roberts crumbling apartment unannounced.
“Yes it fucking is!” He snaps right back. “I don’t need to be doing this.”
“Robert please, it’s not going to fucking kill you.” Chase amps up again, they’d been going back and forth for the last 2 and a half hours. Doing the same spiel for every piece of cloth Robert picked from the big, corporate bag of nesting shit sent to him by SDN.

But between his team and Flambae, things might just work work for the best.
And if it doesn't, Robert always has Beef and Twinkies to count on, neither of them have ever let him down before.

Summary
During his search for Shroud, Robert, in a moment of weakness, has a one-night stand with a man he later realizes is none other than Flambae, the arsonist villain he fought almost three years ago. Thinking they will never meet again, Robert moves on, continuing his search for Shroud until he falls right into his trap. After months of coma, his life takes an abrupt turn when he´s recruited to work for the SDN as the dispatcher assigned to the Z-Team, a bunch of former villains who now work as heroes in order to lessen the penalties for their past crimes. It is of course there where Robert once more stands face to face with the fire-wielding man, having to navigate their shared past while trying not to get burned alive.

Summary
When a child that looks oddly similar to the Z-Team's dispatcher- nearly attached to the back of Chase's leg and guarding himself from prying eyes- is introduced to the team as a deaged version of Robert, chaos expectedly ensues.
If not the jokes, the endless teasing and chiding, the Z-Team also learn some...despairing things from the child form of their dispatcher.
---
In other words, where Robert Robertson the Third learns that loving his father doesn't mean that he always had a great dad.
