Elizabeth Bennet’s first impression of Fitzwilliam Darcy is… unfavourable. Her second and third impressions are hardly any better. Which is the only possible explanation for why she can't seem to get him out of her head.
Free-spirited artist Elizabeth is everything Darcy disapproves of, yet he finds himself captivated by her... and quite desperately attracted. Try as he might he can't stop himself from wanting her, or being drawn back again and again as she works on a mural for his new offices. How would your friend describe this fic to you if they were talking about it casually, maybe trying to convince you to read it too? "You know that trope of 'mysterious older, hot man comes to farm girl's farm for a sultry summer of microdrama and sex, but they catch feelings and go through some shit?' Yea it's that but takes place in winter, Jaime is a painter, MOMMY ISSUES, and there's a lot more emotional pitfalls, cuz this was originally two separate porn fics the author mashed together and then got too deep into it, so it became plot with porn. Oh and that 'draw me like one of your French girls' scene from Titanic, but sexier and won't make you laugh and take you out of the moment."
