Between the Council's demands and the exponential progress developing with Hextech, the men are often separated by their responsibilities. After their relaxing weekend plans were postponed, Viktor misses Jayce too much. He has been stewing in wandering daydreams for too long. Jayce thought the hardest part of university would be the academics, maybe making new friends in such a big school, or if the dining hall would have anything that tastes remotely close to his mothers cooking.
He was wrong. The biggest challenge, by far, is his new roommate. It’s not that he dislikes his roommate. He hasn’t given him any reason to. He isn’t loud or messy or confrontational. He’s just distracting.

Summary
The creature whines up at him, looking pitiful. Silco offers it his hand to sniff.
The big, dark eyes that meet his are surprisingly intelligent. He barks, seemingly as quietly as he can, and bops his giant nose against Silco's hand. Silco has a sinking feeling in his chest. He's not a dog person, or animal person, at all, and he's growing more and more sure that it will be difficult to make Jinx let this creature go.
