Summary

“The picture you sent me,” Frank hisses. He tries to stay quiet, but every word thunders through Mel’s ears.
“Oh.” The heat is climbing up her throat, so she clears it, asks, “Did you, uhh— Did you not like it, then? Or should I have maybe asked fi—”
“No, God, what do you mean? I loved it,” Frank stops her. An incredulous, breathless laugh escapes him. “Jesus, it’s driving me insane. What made you want to send that?”
Mel considers her morning— thinks about looking at her body the way she imagines Frank does— and gives a light shrug.
“I just wanted to,” she tells him, and it’s the truth.
“Jesus, I just want you,” he tells her, curling an arm around her waist, tugging her in to bite a kiss just behind her ear.
