“Ah, fuck it. You're boring.” Pulling her phone close again, Velvette went back to scrolling through her feed. She saw two trending topics, but found them all boring. Outdated. Despite the feeling, she didn't look up as she continued: “I don't know how Vox has so much fun with you.”
“Curious. I thought you knew him better than that.” Alastor crooned, stretching in the chair a little, as if suddenly uncomfortable with the position. It made her purse her lips, finding his voice annoying. Almost off-key. And then he continued, eyes narrowed and a smile stretching across his face: “Vox is a rather strange fellow, am I right?’
She scoffed loudly, almost laughing at his pathetic attempt at provocation. Even though, deep down, she didn't like it one bit.

The son of Captain Hook shouldn't be able to make her smile right after she received a demeaning message from her grandmother. He shouldn't be able to make her run outside in the middle of an important ball, with uncomfortable heels in her hands, letting out a loud, unladylike laugh.
He shouldn't!

Vox had made a point of taking them to a studio that was seldom used day-to-day, but just as good as the others. Numerous spotlights and decorative lights filled the space, along with eleven cameras and exactly three chairs.
It was a large space for just four demons, with a decorative area for the shoot, but it would serve its purpose.
That is… it would serve its purpose if Velvette could decide which outfit the Radio Demon should wear!

Velvette rolled her eyes, fed up with the stupidity. “You're old, not deaf. Fix this freak! Make this guy look presentable!” Her explanation only made him turn his head and frown in her direction, confused. She continued anyway: “I need a good shot for our blog! All the others came out... Well, see for yourself.”
She didn't wait for the other V to respond. She simply stretched out her hand and shoved the phone right in Vox's face, treating the Radio Demon like an irrelevant shadow. Vox didn't need to look for more than two seconds to see that all the photos—from the celebration parade earlier to the fight—had turned out awful.
Alastor was a deformed, glitched-out mess in half the photos, and when he wasn't, he was... Making such an ugly face that Vox let out a stifled laugh. He raised his free hand to his mouth, trying to hold it in, but the urge was clearly winning.

Vox and Carola's first meeting was a milestone. Not because they lived happily ever after, but because it's where it all began. And from there, things just fell into place... 'Naturally' is a bit of a stretch, but they got there. Eventually.
Now, Carola is navigating life while being with an Overlord (and dealing with two others, but that's a story for another time), while Vox is just trying not to lose his mind every time his girlfriend gets bored—which could lead to a destroyed tower, a heist, a giant dinosaur crashing a formal event, the two of them covered in blood, or just them cooking together.
Well, at least... Vox's life is never boring. Point for them!

A collection of scenes that may (or may not!) explain how Vox and Carola ended up together. Vox has no idea how he ended up with someone so unhinged, Carola is constantly causing chaos wherever she goes, and somehow, they just work.

O primeiro encontro de Vox e Carola foi um marco. Não porque eles viveram felizes para sempre, mas porque foi onde tudo começou. E, a partir dai, as coisas aconteceram... naturalmente é uma palavra forte, mas eles chegaram lá. Eventualmente!
Agora, Carola lida com a vida estando junto de um Soberano (e com mais dois, mas isso é algo para explicar outra hora), enquanto Vox tenta não enlouquecer toda vez que sua namorada fica entediada — o que pode levar a um torre destruída, a um roubo, um dinossauro gigante invadindo um evento, os dois cobertos de sangue, ou apenas eles cozinhando juntos.
Bem, ao menos... a vida de Vox não vai ser chata. Ponto para eles!

Ou: um compilado de cenas que podem (ou não!) explicar como Vox e Carola acabaram juntos. Vox não sabe como diabos terminou com alguém tão insana, Carola está sempre causando caos por onde passa, e os dois de alguma forma funcionam.
