"I lied. He asked me if I was adopted, because after finding out we share birthday, he thought there was a tiny chance I might be his long lost twin. I told him I wasn't adopted, and he asked me not to tell anyone about it."
"Wait, why are you telling me this now?"
"Turns out I didn't know I actually was adopted. Now I think I might be Seresin's long lost twin." Before he could ask she added. "I'm not joking."
Jake and Natasha find out they're twins during their first year at USNA. Their biological mother is Charlie Blackwood, and Bradley fears he might know who the father is.

Summary
Both Jake and Bob gave up hope on ever really finding family, then they get taken in by Navy's Batman, or the closest thing to one, that there exist.
This isn't superhero au, just found family one with a lot of comic metaphors (that Maverick doesn't understand) because Jake and Bob are nerds in this.
Or just after Bradley leaves, Mav gets phone call that somehow ends up turning his world upside down once again.(IceMav end up taking in foster kids Jake & Bobby after Bradley left AU)

Summary
AU where Mav and Bradley are kidnapped to be used as hostages against newly appointed COMPACFLT.
Or Mav and Bradley talk earlier and way longer, because there is nothing else to do when you are confined together in a small room against your will.
This whole thing is mostly Mav and Bradley talking, hugging, fighting and crying.

Summary
“Bradshaw!” Bradley turned around tensely, when he heard his name called so angry. It was a freshman kid he'd seen glaring at him a few times. Seresin Jake or Josh. Bradley didn't know what his problem was, but he figured if someone had a problem with him but didn't say it to his face, it was their problem, not Bradley's. However, the furious way in which Seresin approached him indicated that this would soon be his problem. “It’s all your fucking fault!”
“Dude, I don’t even know you. What is my fault?” Bradley asked even if he could tell already there was probably no avoiding a physical fight. They were actually alone in a secluded place, so he was ready to defend himself against the blow, at least until he heard the answer.
“It’s your fault Ice got fucking cancer.” Seresin screamed at him before throwing the punch.
AU where IceMav ends up taking in foster kids Jake & Bobby after Bradley left, and Bradley didn't read their letters or listen to any of their voicemails, so he only found out about it when Jake punched him in the face at USNA.
(Yes, it's AU of AU, but you don't have to read first one to understand this)

Jake is still unsure how the whole situation led to him being adopted by living Navy legends.

Summary
What if Bradley reacted to his papers being pulled by Maverick differently.
He is angry, hormonal and depressed teenager with dead parents, who just got betrayed by his practically second father, only living family he got left.
He always could have reacted worse to that.(Bradley attempts suicide by drowning after papers pulling and Mav tries to deal with aftermath of that.)

Summary
Maverick died during the mission, and somehow ended up back in Tulsa during his teenage years, on the day of Curtis brothers' parents funeral.
He makes it everyone's problem.
Or kind of double time travel fix fic, since Pete "Maverick" Mitchell (used to know as Steve Randle for few years) lived rather long life, and he wants to fix everything possible, at least once he comes to terms with the fact that he travelled through time and he isn't actually dead in some weird version of a 'bad place'.
