He pulled away again, averting his eyes self-consciously whenever he remembered why he was really there tonight. The last thing he wanted was for Waterboy to see him like that. To see what the hero that he idolised was really like behind all the smoke and mirrors.
Herman’s smile fell at the same time as his lighter-coloured eyebrows rose, “D-don’t you want to dance-join in?” He glanced around the place where Robert was still leaning against the counter, “You’re all by your-alone.”
Not for long, if I’m lucky, Robert thought bitterly. The ache that had been building in his gut all day felt like a ravenous, gnawing hole now. It twisted something inside of him, made him feel sick and rotten and wrong. And a thousand miles away from the sweet-faced, wetsuit-wearing hero currently giving up his Saturday night to help keep a bunch of villains safe at a crappy metal night.

Meanwhile, Jack's just wondering how he managed to bag a woman that seems so inexplicably obsessed with him. Don't fuck with crazy, he thinks, but fuck it, this whole ordeal was absurd enough to count as some form of post-ironic comedy. Even if she always looks at him like she's about to cry. (It's disconcerting, but hey, it just adds to the bit.)

Summary
Ragatha hasn't been doing great ever since the lightning round. She presumes it can only get better, but Caine decides to send the group into another horror house to make them combat their greatest fears. As Ragatha faces the voices she usually tries to ignore and everything she would rather keep inside threatens to get out, she almost breaks and struggles to put herself back together.
Meanwhile, Jax is also forced to face the worst memory he tries to forget every waking day and another nightmare he refuses to talk about. He fights to keep up his indifferent mask, but some things can't be hidden.
Unfortunately, running from this horror house doesn't allow them to just leave their fears behind. And seemingly, each of them has slowly come to their personal limit, being unable to ignore the burning problems in the back of their minds any longer.
It will be hard to return to their usual daily life now. Will they force themselves anyway?

“Caine, why would we steal the [redacted.png]-ing moon?”
Glad you asked, my jumbled up Zooble!” Caine floated around, shuddering, “Let’s just say, this adventure helps me out in…some ways.”
Ragatha put her hand to her chin in thought, “Some ways?”
“Yeah, Caine, you’re not answering. Why are we doing this bull-[redacted.png]?” Jax crossed his arms, turning his head away just as Caine dove by Jax.
“The moon has been getting a bit…lively. In all the wrong ways!” Caine popped up in front of the group, “Oh, why am I even explaining this? Just–go out there and steal that moon!”
TLDR:
Caine sends the circus members to steal the moon after she flirted with him. -

The heist of the century didn't exactly have the same ring to it when the “money” Ragatha was holding had Caine’s face across it. It shouldn't be that big of a shock seeing as nothing in the Digital Circus meant a thing. Save for the pair of eyes boring into her.
“If you have something to say, just say it.”
“Are we ever going to talk about what happened between us?”
“Sorry, I'm too busy trying to not get us killed. Try and focus, Jax.”
It seems that he's only focused on one thing and it wasn't the coins with Bubble's face imprinted on them.

"Go on, Detective Raggedy Ann, tell me what that means exactly. Tell me what you discovered during all of those adventures when you were touching my arm and pressing into me and trying your best to prove your point."
