It’s never been lost on Robin that Carol Perkins is a bad person. She’s mean. Cunning. She uses people, plays them like a game. Steve, for status. Tommy, for sex, for security. Robin, for… something. The thrill of doing something wrong, maybe.
The thing is, Robin doesn’t think she’s a good person either. She’s never done things out of love, only for it.

Summary
The minutes dragged on, the tension building, someone was singing ABBA’s Mamma Mia, and then four people walked onto the stage, and the crowd exploded in cheers and whistles, and Steve thought he might have a heart attack, actually, because he knew these people – there was Robin Buckley who he’d briefly worked with in that godawful ice cream place a couple years ago, there was Jeff something something who Steve remembered stealing lunch money from in middle school, there was another guy who looked vaguely familiar but who Steve couldn’t place, and then there was Eddie fucking Munson.
Steve remembered Eddie. Remembered watching him and talking about him and laughing at him behind his back and other stuff, stuff he’d rather forget, stuff he was still trying to make up for, stuff he didn’t want the kids to find out about ever because if they did, they were sure to write him off, and Steve would deserve it, was the thing.
And then Eddie started playing his guitar and started singing and Steve’s mind went blank.***

Summary
“And you must be Will the Wise,” Eddie greeted him when the other kids had finally let go. “I heard all about you.”
Will the Wise arched a single eyebrow at him. “You did.” It wasn't even a question, the kids voice dry and doubtful.
Will kind of hated him, Eddie thought, and then immediately wondered what he'd done to deserve that because while he was very used to random strangers hating him for no fucking reason, he'd kind of hoped this particular random stranger would be an exception to the rule.
Joke was on the kid, though, because Eddie loved a challenge.
“Most powerful wizard in all the land,” he said, cracking a smile that he hoped was disarming enough as he offered his hand.
Will glanced at it for a moment, then at his face, his eyes narrowed ever so slightly. Assessing him. Eddie wasn’t too worried, though, simply wiggled his fingers and waited for Will to make the next move.
He did.
A surprisingly strong hand grabbed his own, shaking it firmly.
“By the by,” Eddie tagged on in a low voice so that only Will could hear, planning to go all in, “I personally thought Zombie Boy was a pretty badass name.”- Language:

Summary
Someone should... definitely check on how his brain is doing, after Eddie’s confession. Virginity is bullshit anyway, right? Robin told him about it, how it’s a completely made-up societal construct that invalidates a lot of queer people’s sexual experiences, and how toxic it can be to straight relationships too, so he can take her lesson to heart and be normal about it. Totally.
“That’s so fucking hot,” he blurts out.
Okay Harrington, way to be normal about it!
Or, Steve is experienced, and Eddie is a virgin.
