Idate never towered above the waves at a size that rivalled Iceberg Isle itself.
And Idate never allowed a silence to fester more horrifically than any cruel jibes or barbs.

Summary
All those fearful sorts didn’t need to worry about his appetite, at least. A school of cod had helped with that on his way in, even if the seals and belugas herding them near the Isle hadn’t exactly accounted for his involvement. Their reactions once he darted up from the depths at them never got old.
Good thing he’d done that, given how his incursion further inland wasn’t as stealthy as he’d hoped. Must have been some eyes in the sky he hadn’t noticed. As his tongue swept over his lower lip, gathering up the blood and errant fish scales caked there, he took some solace in the fact that a growling stomach hadn’t been a contributing factor. Still somewhat annoying when you’d sauntered back into civilisation expecting at least some flavour of bloodsport.
In times like these, he felt real grateful for his favourite little mutt.
Idate has a nice afternoon.Shirogane does not.
