The real Shinichi Kudō entered. Panting, disheveled, with an expression that was anything but amused. His gaze immediately fell on the scene: a corpse, panicked guests, Akai and Furuya on alert—and Kaito, in his disguise, in the middle of the room, as if this were a magic show.
"Kaito!" Shinichi's voice echoed through the room.
Everyone turned to him. For a moment, there was absolute silence. Two Shinichis stood facing each other—one serious, clearly focused, the other with that far too crooked grin that betrayed him.
"...What. The. Hell," Furuya finally managed to say, unable to fully maintain his composure.
Akai remained silent, but his fingers were gripped tightly around the grip of his pistol.The guests whispered even louder. "There are two of them?!" - "What's going on here?" - "Was one of them an accomplice?"
