"...What, do I smell that bad?" Daniil asked, both doubtful and incredulous at the admission that Artemy really was sniffing him.
"No," Artemy answered instantly. "Not bad, just different. Couldn't tell if it was you or not."
An embarrassing rush of dopamine flooded Daniil all at once; why was it so appealing for Artemy to like the way he smelled? He knew he likely was nothing short of noxious, soaked in sweat and laboratory-grade chemicals and tobacco, but apparently Artemy didn't mind that.
"So?" Daniil urged, knowing how strange he must seem but powerless to stop himself from prodding at the weak spot. "What do I smell like, then?"
The lamplight danced like fireflies in Artemy's eclipsed eyes. "Pink."
Daniil raised an eyebrow. "Pink?"

When Jisung found Minho, it wasn’t at another party, under neon lights reflecting each fleck of glitter splattered on Jisung’s cheeks. He wasn’t in a tight-fitting shirt and a belt cinched to the smallest loop. He was in a shitty collared blue convenience store uniform, scraping by short on change.
No one had ever looked at Jisung like this—sober Jisung under the unflattering fluorescent lights of the convenience store. And Minho looked at him like he was perfect.
Jisung meets Minho and everything falls into place. If only he could get his stalker out of the picture.

“What’s going on?” Jisung asks.
Chan doesn’t bother with pleasantries. He and Jisung keep in touch well enough through an ongoing text thread that he knows about the concept of Jisung’s upcoming album, the U.S. tour at the end of the year, that there is no one significant in Jisung’s life aside from the elderly neighbor that occasionally feeds his cat, Nana, and foists confusing baked goods like zucchini bread on him.
So, when Chan calls, he gets straight to business. “I want to talk to you about an interview.”
“An interview.” The word feels uncomfortable on Jisung’s tongue. It sticks in his throat, causes it to constrict.
Silence stretches between them before Chan admits, “Well, a little more than an interview. A docuseries, of sorts.”
(It’s been ten years since Jisung lost Minho and Stray Kids. Now, they’re telling the story.)
