Summary
As a private detective, Seokjin knows a thing or two about keeping secrets, so he should be able to successfully hide his crush on his confounding-but-charming new co-worker Yoongi. No matter the connection and chemistry between them, Seokjin is aware that Yoongi has been hurt badly before and won't—can't—date him, and so his plan is to keep his feelings to himself forever and ever. The truth, however, is in serious danger of being exposed when the two of them go undercover together as a couple at what they assume is an ordinary dinner party.
Seokjin doesn't actually go to a lot of ordinary dinner parties, mind you, but even he knows they don't usually feature this much nudity.
Or: going undercover with Yoongi at an unexpected orgy, Seokjin loses his mind, finds his courage—and somehow manages to keep his clothes on and his true feelings a secret, at least until he and Yoongi are alone.

First comes the setup. You set the mood for the audience, lure them into thinking this is a perfectly normal character, a perfectly mundane situation. That way, they can picture a clear image in their head, relate to the scene.
Then, you have the punchline.
The setup of this story is this: Man writes a routine out of anger against an injustice and goes viral.

“You haven’t read my acrostic poems,” Namjoon says, watching Yoongi settle cross-legged on the mattress, because there’s a corner of his brain that’s dedicated to bickering with Yoongi and it’s stuck permanently firing on all cylinders.
“I haven’t read your letter either,” Yoongi shoots back, eyebrows raised, as if he’s expecting Namjoon to just hand it over like that. “Was your ode to friendship really that intense? Because she really seemed convinced it couldn’t be anything but a love letter.”

It’s a bad idea, Yoongi tries to tell himself. Taehyung's leaving in two days, and Yoongi's already in too deep here. He should tell him to leave, say goodbye even though Taehyung doesn’t like them. He should try to move on from this as quick as he can, not let it take up any more space in his head.
The trouble is, he wants this. And it feels good to want something, even if it’s something he shouldn’t.

Summary
Namjoon really hadn’t meant to fall asleep.
He’d wanted to stay awake, listen to Yoongi’s explanation, have an excuse to stare as Yoongi raised one hand from the steering wheel to make a point—but Yoongi’s voice has been the soundtrack of so many sleepless nights that it’s hard now not to associate it with the moments when the world turns soft and hazy at the corners and your eyes close of their own accord.
He only realizes he’d dozed off once he wakes up, feeling like he’s barely blinked. The only sign that time has passed is the scenery around them, now that they’re clearly far enough away from Seoul that the buildings have given way to a glowing countryside. The light of the setting sun is bright enough it shines past his eyelids, and he opens his eyes to orange clouds and Yoongi’s huff of laughter.
(Yoongi takes Namjoon on a trip to see the fireflies.)
