Summary
Timothy Drake never met his mom. He has an image of her in his mind, of what he wishes she would be like. He has a life in his head that he thinks about, where his mom didn't die in childbrith, and his dad didn't spiral and turn to alcohol for his only comfort.
Stephanie Brown finally got the courage to leave home. Leaving her mother behind, she's distracted by her guilt when she runs into a small kid, one who's run away just like her. Planning to live on the streets of Gotham together, their stint is short lived when the police bring them back home.
Those few months they spent on the streets together spirals into a friendship that gets the two of them through their hardest points in life.
