    Marinette is the Star of the Order of the Miraculous, the still-in-training head, as well as the True Ladybug leading the Court of Miracles. After years at Hawkmoth's mercy, Marinette has decided that enough is enough and is reaching out to Batman, the detective of detectives to help her track down the villian's true identity. What better way to do this than a field trip to Gotham?

    Damian, the bloodson and heir to both the Cowl and the Demon's Head, wants nothing to do with the French Class who has won the Wayne Enterprises Summer Internship, yet his father insists he needs better interpersonal skills. He supposes it won't kill him to try to work with this supposedly skilled class president if it means that everyone will get off his back for being 'aggressively asocial' (although he will still keep NDAs on standby).

    A seal of fate, a blood right, and a hidden prophecy lead Marinette and Damian on a rollercoaster of emotions, humourous misunderstandings, comeuppance -- and marriage?!

    Ye Xiu pauses. It’s not like he makes a habit of keeping secrets from his husband, save for tactical team matters that he quite literally can’t talk to Wenqing about, but there is only one secret that could have Wenqing acting the way he was.
    He sighs, and closes his eyes. “Mucheng told you, didn't she?”
    Wenqing’s gaze is hurt, almost devastated, and Ye Xiu’s heart aches. It’s not that he didn’t want to tell Wenqing, but- it hurt, an almost physical pain, when he thought about actually talking about the matter. Thinking about Excellent Era forcing him out was already bad enough, no matter that it was something he couldn’t ignore, unless he wanted to never be able to play professionally ever again.
