Summary
Till doesn’t consider Ivan as his friend, let alone as an acquaintance. In a surprising twist of events, Ivan got caught in an accident and didn’t survive. Upon hearing the news, Till unconsciously went to the direction of Ivan’s house. To his surprise, he saw a familiar figure which he determined as Ivan. Despite being Ivan physically, his body is devoid of a soul. It turns out that in their town, whenever a person dies an untimely death, their bodies will act like they usually do when they are alive. As Till explores the enigmas of Ivan’s habits throughout his decaying body, he will also discover some of Ivan’s darkest secrets and also… undying devotion to Till?

Summary
Mydei leans away from the dromas at the sight of him. He looks the same as he always does: scowl in place, dressed and armored in Kremnoan attire. Yet in Phainon’s preheat vision, Mydei is achingly handsome—sleek lines, sharp angles, and a ruggedness from years on the battlefield.
Phainon’s thighs grow wet.
“What took you so long?” Mydei snaps. “We’re heading to a negotiation, not a field trip. No need to bring all your outfits."
“What if I want to impress the stakeholder?” Phainon jests, adjusting his tunic to hide his lower torso. He falters, however, when he notices Mydei’s sharp hazel eyes fixed on the slick staining his front. For a moment, Phainon feels raw and exposed, shame creeping up his neck. Mydei’s breathing pauses, the pace slowing to something deeper and more indulgent, before he looks away.
“We have a long journey ahead,” Mydei murmurs. “Pace yourself.”
Phainon sets out on a mission with Mydei, determined to maintain the facade of being a beta despite his preheat. But then his full-blown heat strikes at the worst possible time.
Mydei takes care of him.

You weren’t in bed with me, there wasn’t a wedding band on my finger, and”—his eyes flicker to Mydei’s chest, a fiery blush blooming on his face—“you’re half-naked.”
“We sleep together?” Mydei asks, surprised.
Phainon deadpans.
“We’re married.”
(Phainon finds himself in a modern Amphoreus where he and Mydei have been married for years. Mydei finds himself with a Phainon that claims the two of them are married.)
