Fiyero really needs to learn to proofread his texts before he sends them.
Because now, thanks to the joys of autocorrect, Fiyero's family is somehow under the impression that he's dating Elphaba, and worse, they're expecting her to join him in the Vinkus for Lurlinemas.
Because Elphaba is a great friend, she agrees to go along with the ruse.
It's just like something out of those cheesy, sappy Lurlinemas movies on the Quillark channel that Galinda loves- a couple pretend to be in love. Except those ones always end with the couple falling in love for real. And there's no way that's ever going to happen.

Filled me with such deep joy loved this so so much. I love Christmas I love fiction set during the holidays I just reread this but I read it for the first time at like 2 am on my couch in the middle of Christmas lights and it was so much fun.

Okay so it's been a minute since I read this in the middle of a bunch of really sweet Fiyeraba but like I remember it was REALLY good so there's that it made me very sincerely happy. Just the right amount of awkward moments to make me insane I love Elphaba.
