“Curly, stop fucking around and wake the fuck up” Jimmy grinds out between gritted teeth, almost frantically. Even when Curly was deathly silent without a hint of movement, his eye would always be shaking with the pain - looking, watching, alert.
It’s dull. It’s not as bright-
As his caring touch turns rough - purposefully pressing into his flesh with dirtied, bloodied nails and making sure it broke its surface, reached exposed veins, hurt. He hoped it hurt. Hurt so much that he’d do anything for the pain to stop. Something, anything. Give him anything-
Nothing.
“Curly.” Jimmy demands slowly, though it doesn't hold the sternness of weight or confidence that a Captain’s voice should. “Curly…?”
He asks this time. Nicely. Pleading.
And there’s no response.
Or; Anya takes Curly with her in Medical, and Jimmy breaks from the impact.

After a few sips rivalling that of a dying man, he clears his throat and speaks a little better. A saint, she is. “Anya, hey.”
“Hey.” Anya responds, leaving a blanket of calm fall over both of their shoulders in a warm, comforting embrace. They are left gazing at each other for a prolonged moment, Curly observing her hair in a low ponytail even as her bangs still frame her face. A fuzzy set of pajamas on her form, the neckline pulled up in a turtleneck and having little llama print all over it. Her favorite.
After a second more, Curly desperately wishes to break the ice. He doesn’t deserve such freedom in enjoying her forgiving presence.
“... Come here often?”
“Pft-”
Nailed it.
Or; Curly awakes to a late night encounter with Anya. Both plagued with the spell of the midnight , they can't do anything but enjoy each other's company - and finally say some things that have been left unspoken.

He’s been trying to make a name for himself on his own when in his 21 birthday he runs into two new friends, Darnell and Nene, who let him crash at their place from time to time eventually leading to a permanent home and another new friend Pico.
Though there are secrets none are ready to share and tensions that may arise.
This is a Bf x Pico fic but there are some tidbits of others in the mix!
