“What are you doing in my room?” Rey demanded. The words shook despite her attempt to sound strong. She supposed it didn’t matter how she sounded, though. She was cowering on the floor, after all—as far away as she could get from this intruder.
He returned his black-eyed attention to her and a sardonic grin spread across his roguish face. It could’ve been an oddly human expression, if it weren’t for the sharpened canines it exposed in his mouth.
“Tell me, pretty thing,” he said, his voice smoky and alluring, “do I fucking look like I know?”Rey just wants to feel a sense of belonging. So she casts a spell to give herself exactly that. Only, she’s not the best witch. And the spell summoned a hot, annoying demon to her bedroom. What could go wrong?
