Summary
“What are you smiling about?” Nami asked, eyes narrowing.
“You will lend me money,” Zoro laughed, “And you'll help me pick out a nice tie for curly too.”
“Are you insane? Why would I do that?” she hissed.
“Because we’re friends,” he said, practically giggling, “And you’re rooting for me.”

Summary
She doesn’t realize she’s been pressing a hand to her shoulder again until she sits up a little straighter to watch him go.
“Nami,” Zoro says, voice firm in a quiet way. “Your scars are up to you to define. Arlong might have been the reason for it, but you’re the one who says no, those wound are yours and the guy who gave them to you doesn’t mean anything. You own the wound. It’s part of you, not him or anyone else. Your scars are you taking control of your life again. Where things go from here is up to you.”
A late night conversation over tangerines and the tang of salt out on the open sea.

Summary
Zoro doesn’t have a single romantic bone in him, and never once the idea of marriage crossed his mind.
At the end of the day, though, marriage is about loyalty, about devotion and faith in something outside of yourself. And that — Zoro’s good at that. Zoro’s a natural at that.
(Five times Zoro accidentally proposed to Sanji without even knowing what a proposal is, and one time he gets properly proposed to.)

Summary
"I thought I loved her," Sanji mutters, gripping the glass in his hands tighter. "But I haven't been able to see any colors at all. The world is still just.. black and white and gray. If she were my soulmate, I should have been able to see it, the moment I fell in love with her."
"Does it matter?" Zoro asks and he's glad his voice doesn't sound as hoarse as he feared, even though the lump is still there. Why does he have to do this? It feels unnecessarily cruel that he of all people has to give his crush relationship advice. He doesn't look at Sanji. Instead, he keeps his gaze fixated on the wine in his glass. This is his fourth or fifth glass and he doesn't even like red wine that much.
