Summary
It is June twentieth, 1979; Regulus Black is a day away from eighteen; and he has always known this to be how he dies. He’s Seen it, over and over and over before.
He’s Seen many things. Life is but a pre-ordained dance, dictated by Fate, and humans are forever turning, twirling, twisting through its steps.
On and on and on.
And there is nothing he can do to change it.
—
(In which being a Seer is much less helpful than one may assume, Fate is a bitch, and Regulus tries and fails to do better.)

Summary
Tommy, fresh into exile, has some blue. This has some peculiar ramifications on his state of mind. It probably shouldn't be much of a surprise; after all, it did come from a ghost.

Summary
The Falconer's Rebellion begins, as most rebellions do, with a singular mission and a man far too dedicated to fulfilling it. There's nothing unusual about that. We've seen it before.
This time, though, things turn out a little bit differently.
Thjazi Fang says, Nessa, will you come with me?
And the Lady Aranessa Royce says, Yes.
(A pair of lovers flees the Golden Orchard, and changes the trajectory of the future in their wake.)

Summary
In the few brief heartbeats before his current body collapsed beneath him, Bolaire hoped he would dream of Hal. He'd never dreamt before, but what had there been to dream of? The Schemers wouldn't force Bolaire onto someone. No matter how much Hal might care about Bolaire as a friend, there were lines he wouldn't cross. Shouldn't cross.
When Bolaire's body dies, he resigns himself to be “sleeping” for a long time. Azune, with the help of the other Schemers, refuses to let that happen, even if it means wearing Bolaire himself. What's a little body-sharing between friends, right?

There’s no question who killed the Sandaime.
All of the ANBU there will testify that it was Kakashi, but what’s more damning is the hole in his chest from Kakashi’s chidori.
---
Kakashi's on the run and not having a great time, but at least he's got a cool Akatsuki robe.

There were eight strangers in the foyer of his dead brother's towers and Verin Thelyss was slowly losing his patience.
After the sudden "death" of Shadowhand Essek Thelyss, it is his brother Verin's job to empty out his towers. The Mighty Nein show up to help (and maybe steal a few things).
OR: Verin is grieving, Essek just wants his stuff back, and the Mighty Nein are the Mighty Nein.

Summary
"He was so young, during the rebellion. He got his fair share of scars, sure, but this is - " he blinks back wetness in his eyes, both because he doesn't know what it means, and also because he will not let Thimble be right about his big wet kitty-cat eyes. "He was reckless, but not stupid. Where has he been?"
If Thimble catches the crack in his voice, she's kind enough to let it pass. "I dunno. You all finding me in the hideout - obviously, it was a fucking nightmare, but at least that part was good. Seeing you again. Then, Kat walking in like that...yeah." She sounds somber. "He was on Thaz's mind, sure, but he wasn't one of the pieces he kept on the board."
"Do you think if he had been kept closer, he would be less - " a dozen words flit across his mind, not all of them Common, but none seem quite right.
"Fucked up?" Thimble offers, and something in Teor's heart hurts.
