“It’s snowing outside,” Ryung said excitedly, taking his sister’s hand in his. It was so small, bunched up into a tiny fist. “Appa says it’s a white Christmas.”
Aeri didn’t smile, but she did look up to Sangie-Appa, waiting for him to explain.
Sangie-Appa’s smile, however, was blinding. “Oh my, it snowed? We could go out and play in the snow, maybe build a snowman, or make snow angels.”
Ryung gasped, getting up to his feet in an instant, and pulling up his sister with him, refusing to let go of her little hand. “Can we?”
