As quickly as it had come, the smile drops from Lyney’s face, leaving his expression tired and muted, and it feels good to relax his face, his muscles. To feel like he doesn’t have to be on all the time. “Sometimes, I forget how to do anything else,” he says truthfully, and Aether sucks in a quiet breath.
