It’s interesting, Sai thinks as he focuses on the motion of sweeping – it’s like painting, almost, using just a bigger brush and different medium – that of the two, Lord Danzo wishes to focus on Gojo Satoru, the forest enigma with no home, no clan, no recognizable familial features, rather than Uzumaki Naruto, the vessel of the nine-tails demon, infamous for destroying the Village of the Hidden Leaf.
But of course, Sai is not one to question the Lord’s motives. After all, it is certainly better to familiarize oneself with the threat one knows nothing about.
