Summary
The ship wasn’t designed for comfort.
It was a long, skeletal thing — cold metal corridors twisting through the void of space like veins through a corpse. Every hallway hummed with recycled air and the quiet buzz of ancient fluorescent lights. The walls were scuffed where boots had kicked, scratched where panic had clawed, and stained where something worse had happened. Outside, there was only black, a never-ending void of stars.
Inside, there was suspicion.
Every room had a purpose, yet every purpose was life or death.

Summary
The cold air of the rink cut sharply against Tommy's skin, a crisp reminder of the life he had carved out for himself—a world cloaked in blades, spins, and soaring jumps, where emotions often swirled just as chaotically as the snow from his skates.
He remembers long ago, when suddenly, showing up to practise twice a week, taking time off when he was ill, or too cold, or hurt, wasn't going to cut it anymore.
At thirteen, He bore the weight of prodigious expectations heavier than his young age should allow, his golden blonde hair tousled, the sparkle in his blue eyes dimming ever-so-slightly under the pressure.
OR
Tommy didn't always skate alone. A look into before the olympics, before SMP, before Tubbo and Ranboo. Back when Tommy was only thirteen and training got more intense than it had been and for a while, but he didn't always face the wrath of his coach alone.

Summary
“What would you do if you could go outside, Wil?”.
Wilbur looked down at his white shoes, white like every other outfit they had. Mother had always worn the same long black dress with a white apron, and every kid had worn a white polo shirt with either white shorts, trousers, or a white skirt. The shoes were no different.
No one ever minded though, Since they didn't have magazines, phones, posters, or music they couldn't long for something they didn't have, right?
After a while of thinking, Wil looked back at Tommy and just shrugged.
“I don't know. What about you, Tommy?”.
His response was almost instant
“I’de ride a giraffe!”.
Techno groaned and fell back on the gate.
“Good luck.” He stated, sarcasticlly
“This gate.” After a while of silence, Wil reached out and softly grabbed the bar of the gate with one hand. “I wonder what its really keeping us protected from.”

Tommy swore betraying Dream was a one-time mistake, except, for some reason, he couldn’t seem to stop doing it. It’d probably be easier if Tubbo and Ranboo would just leave him alone.

Summary
"You said you analyze people when they fight," Tommy says thoughtfully. "So you know what I fight like, right?”
Technoblade seems reluctant to answer. “Yes,” he says, and Tommy leans forward, eyes wide and curiously interrogative.
“Well?”
“You fight like you’re dying.”
Tommy "Theseus" Soot is the seven-time champion of the seasonal tournament hosted in Hypixel's Arena. Each season, he hopes to be paired with his best friend Ranboo, but the two never seem to get lucky enough. This winter, Tommy hopes for an easy eighth win to make his win streak two years long. When he's paired with temperamental Technoblade, who looks like he could kill someone with a glance, things start to seem like they might go south. Quickly.

Excerpt:
Wilbur was the one to drag Tommy out of the wild. He’s been told since that it had been some sight, that first day, Philza’s good kid all roughed up with a tiny boy locked in his arms. Wilbur had walked through town with a smile on his face and scratches on his arms. Tommy had walked through town with his own grin, sharp as a knife, and twigs in his hair. What was a little devil doing out by himself in the trees? Literally feral, he was. He could talk, but not well, and to hear Wilbur tell it, half his vocabulary was insults.
Not that how he got to that point really matters. What matters is that Wilbur was the one who found him and claimed him and dragged him, biting and scratching, away from the wild. Right to his father’s doorstep.

Summary
Tommy scoffs. “Fine. Whatever.” Stones and rubble scatter as Tommy stumbles off of the pile. “You’re so boring now,” Tommy complains, kicking one of the loose pebbles. “Stop moping and go back to fucking normal.”
Tommy only tries to distract Techno a few more times. When Tommy finds old, vulgar graffiti, or when he grabs a stick and pretends it's a sword, or when he picks a few spare wildflowers and holds them out for Techno to take.
Techno turns away from them.
Tommy stops trying after that.
---
After getting bit, Tommy reveals that he's immune—only seconds before Techno almost pulls the trigger.
Techno is thrown into a devastation, struggling through guilt, nightmares, and a sense of responsibility.
Tommy just wants Techno to stop ignoring him.

Summary
It was as if lava had poured down their bond. Both Tommy and Wilbur went down with a scream, desperately trying to cut their bond, but it was too late.
By the time the lava cooled, and all the hunters were taken down, there was no magic to be called upon. As if the lave had turned to bedrock right in their core. As if all of their magic was hidden away behind unbreakable stone.
“Tommy,” Wilbur had gritted, jaw tight and eyes hard with anger. “What did you do?”
Bad luck, the card had said. Bad luck.
Tommy hadn’t proved himself. Tommy had embarrassed himself, Tommy had ruined Wilbur’s magic.
And it was all Tommy's fault.
---
After a spell leaves Tommy and Wilbur without magic, Tommy takes it upon himself to fix it. But after his solution, Tommy is stuck unwillingly going to alternate realities--of the futures that Wilbur has changed.
When Tommy's memory begins to slip, and he never knows if he's in his reality or a different one, he fights against what's real, what's fake, and what he feels he has to do to make up for his mistake.
