    Summary

Of course, Lavernius Tucker is a Blue. A particularly funny thing about Blues (and Reds, to their credit) is that they have almost notoriously bad luck when it comes to keeping good things, no matter how small. Which is why, when Tucker is sitting with his elbows resting on his knees and his helmet is at his side and he’s enjoying the peace and quiet of Chorus at night, that quiet is broken by an all-too familiar voice.

    “Uh, Captain Tucker?”

The voice comes from behind him, and Tucker briefly envisions launching himself off the side of the cliff if only to get away from Palomo as quickly as humanly possible.

He doesn’t, obviously. That would be stupid.

    But he considers it.

EDIT- REVISED AS OF 9/2/2025 !!

Being dead, William Wisp has come to discover, is very different from speaking to the dead.

A guide to surviving high school and heroics from a very unreliable narrator- especially considering this narrator is dead.

A bunch of scenarios based on William Wisp actually being dead as opposed to just having ghost powers.

    Summary

The two dissolve into giggles as though they’re children again, eventually fading off into a comfortable silence. This is nice, Kaeya thinks, this moment of peace. Stormterror- er, no, Dvalin has been returned to his normal state thanks to the traveler and that bard, the storms that would rip into the city laid to rest. The Abyss Order has become far more quiet save for the occasional mage sent in to snoop, although Diluc is always quick to put a stop to it. There’s no murders nor robbers, Mondstadt finally falling back into what it should be. It’s good. Boring, sure, but good nonetheless. A tiny smile worms its way onto his fa-

“They came in asking about the Fatui, actually.”

The smile is gone in a heartbeat and his worry returns tenfold, this time accompanied by suspicion. Fantastic. Brilliant. Absolutely superb.

    It goes like this:

The wings crusted in gold and azure are the most valuable of all, for those are a claim from those who stand at your side. Gifts of companionship, they say, so that others may look upon you and know that you are loved.

AKA Childe earns his wings of companionship when Aether lets him travel with the group.
