Food for thought! Aikawa Toshiro is a survivor of the 3rd war turned healer who meets Kakashi through the hospital. He slowly gains clan allies and makes the hospital better. He helps create an alliance between Ino-Shika-Cho and the Uchiha that leads to Danzo dying and Itachi being set up as Hokage. Kakashi adopts 8 Root children and Toshiro helps raise them and moves into the Hatake compound. All of the academy children are very close with each other and their teams are different as genin than canon. Toshiro is close friends with Shisui (and his girlfriend Hoshika) and Itachi.
Chapter 31 was the end of an arc. Chapter 32 is 3 years later. -

"There's not going to be many, I don't think," Lily says. "That's an ugly combination of personalities to deal with on my behalf. That's asking a lot from a boyfriend who doesn't exist yet."
"It's not the greatest," Mary agrees. "But, you know, you've also got your friends. We've never liked Snape--"
"I know," Lily says dryly.
"--and Potter might be obsessed with you but, well, you've never liked him. What's the harm in trying something different?" Mary says.

Lily had her fall-out with Severus at the end of 5th year. She decided she wanted to date a Slytherin and made plans over summer. Her friends helped her decide on Regulus Black. She gave him a contract on the train ride and he accepted after getting his parent's permission and they have signed a 6-month contract. The school just found out and Lily had to be clear with James on boundaries. Mary's parents are acting as Lily's wizarding parents and helping her.
This fic handles Lily's friendships extremely well and has great insight into magical culture. No Voldemort, just Minister Riddle. -

Very realistic fic, I love it! In the summer after 5th year, Harry found out about Lordships and was adopted by Lucius Malfoy. He entered into a betrothal with Rabastan, which eventually turned into an engagement. Both are on potions to improve their poor health. Harry split from his 'old' friends, Hermione, Ron, and Ginny, who damaged his belongings. Harry has tutoring in ancient runes from Marcus Flint. This caused some jealousy from Rabastan before he and Harry resolved that. Draco is engaged to Astoria. Harry went with Dumbledore to get the Locket to keep pretending he is on the Light side. Harry blackmailed Voldemort after finding out that Harry himself is a horcrux. Dumbledore plans on potioning him to fight. Voldemort wants Thicknesse to win in the election and 'ordered' Harry to vote correctly. Theo has plans to ruin his betrothed, Daphne. Harry freed Pansy from her betrothal to Selwyn by blackmailing Giovanni Rowle. Harry was defeated in the Wizengamot (over the execution of a vampire) and Lucius and Xerxes didn't support him. Harry and Rabastan pretended to break off their engagement and that made Lucius and Xerxes apologize; Harry and Rabastan are back together. Harry gave evidence in Umbridge's trial. Dumbledore tried to investigate the Malfoys for abuse, but Harry got away clean. Harry has verbally told Dumbledore he will not fight; Dumbledore is now planning on trying to potion him. Remus is under potion influence. Harry went to the Nott's Yule party, where Harry met Marcus' fiancée, Eleanor, and Theo ditched Daphne publicly and engaged himself to Luna. Thicknesse has won the election for Minister. Harry and Rabastan went to a New Year's Party at the Carrows and Rhadamanthus is now fully planning on killing Harry in secret. Dumbledore tried to expel Harry with allegations of cheating, but Harry managed to turn it around on him. Harry got called to a Wizengamot meeting about mis-brewed potions killing children, they sentenced the man responsible. Harry helped a 2nd year through Head Boy duties. Pansy and Giovanni have started to like each other. Harry was discovered to have been poisoned (although Marcus's runes saved his life) and they found out Rhadamanthus was responsible (Voldemort killed him). The public doesn't know this and are looking towards Dumbledore. Harry has mostly recovered. He passed his creature law reform. He is back at Hogwarts for his final 9 weeks. -

Harry has just presented as an Omega in a Wizarding World where everything is determined by your designation and your involvement in a Coven. Omegas might be precious to Covens, but it's not exactly easy navigating life as one. Harry will have to work it out. Piece by piece.

Very interesting, if dark, world. There are covens headed by alphas. Harry is a newly presented omega. He is in a coven with Hermione, an alpha, and other betas: Ron, Dean, Seamus, and Luna. There is another coven with Fred, an alpha. George is an omega. Malfoy is the alpha of another coven. Harry might be partly a seer (his first and second heat). There was an incident with Susan and Zachariah. There was also an incident with George, Zachariah, Harry, and Nott. Susan bonds with Terry. Harry has received a courting offer from Malfoy and the Order foisted a courting offer on him as well from Oberon. Ron stands up for George; Fred and George finally come to a compromise. Susan's mating with Terry and Hannah is not going well, Harry and George are worried. Colin Creevey presented as an omega, he was placed with Stebbins, a 6th year Alpha, and his introduction to the coven went horribly. Harry won the trial against Diggory (trying to force Harry to be a surrogate). George agreed to court/bond with an alpha if Fred courts Colin to get him away from Stebbins. Harry went to Fleur and Bill's bonding and Oberon pushed limits when 'grounding' Harry and made Harry extremely unsettled. Harry no longer wants to bond with him, but is afraid of consequences if he stops the courtship. Harry has found out that Colin and George like each other. Harry tried to stop Colin and Fred's courtship and it didn't work well. Harry encountered Colin being mistreated by Stebbins and interfered and it managed to get Stebbins expelled and Colin moved to a different Coven with Ernie. -

Obi-Wan left Melidaan to go back to the Temple alone, but ended up a slave. He helped stage as escape, but is now with the Mandalorians who responded to his signal. He is injured currently, but Jaster is considering adoption. Their ship got hit by pirates (again) and Obi-Wan tried to escape, but got caught.
