Summary
Buck is sporting a grin, his pupils are wide, and Eddie can’t look away. Buck is looking at him with so much awe and adoration that Eddie can feel it. But it isn’t just the high from a good rescue, it’s—it might be love, Eddie thinks. God, Buck looks like he’s in love. Eddie wants to reach for him; it’s the only thing he can think of to do, trapped under Buck's warm gaze.
Eddie is so focused on seeing, really seeing, the way Buck is looking at him, that he doesn't even notice Ravi until he barrels into him.Or, five times Buck looks lovestruck around Eddie, and one time Eddie does something about it
In other words, a quick little 5+1 of them being idiots in love

Summary
“What do we want to call this? What are we now?”
"Chris has already informed me that we can’t be just boyfriends because we’ve been acting like a married couple for a long time.”
“Well, Chris isn’t exactly wrong. I’m sure the entire firehouse would say the same. I’m also pretty sure Ravi thinks we were married and then got divorced. I’m not really sure how he thought that made sense. I guess—”
“If I got you a ring tomorrow, would you say yes?” Eddie blurts out.
Or, Eddie, Chris, and Buck have arrived back in LA together, and the unpacking into their home has begun. Eddie just can't keep the burning questions to himself.

Summary
“Go ahead, serve yourself, Mohan.” For whatever reason, the usage of her last name sort of jolts her. Like she almost forgot her place, that she may be in his home, eating his food, with his daughter, but he is still very much her attending. And, now, sort-of her boss.
Jack Abbot needs someone to watch his kid while he's on the night-shift. Enter: Resident with crippling debt, Samira Mohan.

Summary
“What?” the med student asked, defensive. “I’m just saying… broken glass. Bad luck.”
Samira sucked in a sharp inhale of breath. Bad luck.
Full moon, broken glass.
Bad luck. Bad luck on the day she was supposed to tell Jack Abbot how she feels. Fuck.
Samira shook her head like it would shake the thoughts from her brain. It doesn’t matter, she tried to tell herself. That’s all phony, anyways.
But the kernel of self-doubt had been planted.
But it didn’t matter… right?
or: a series of bad luck superstitions befall the ED on the day samira is going to confess her feelings.

Summary
All that to say, it was difficult for him to understand just how Samira Mohan seemed to sneak up on him. How she managed to take root in his life as if she’d been planted there beside him all along.
In hindsight, he could see that finding her red-eyed and flustered had been the beginning of something. He had, unthinkingly, taken the leap from professional to personal. Jack hadn’t seen it that way. His mental file on Samira Mohan was long; nowhere within it had he noted that she was the type to cry at work or leave early.
Jack was worried about her. So what?
