Not mine. My mate was a narcissistic manipulator, but I didn't know, he hid it well. I was foolish for believing that he married me for love and not only for my body, so foolish.
He took so much out of me that I became unable to give anymore, and when I reached that point of mental distress due to overwhelming pain and self-guilt, I unconsciously started to gain weight in a mean to protect myself, but even then, he took some more, again and again, always.
I've been alone for two years now and I'm recovering well, I'm doing much better without him, but there is a downside to this whole ordeal.
