The guy did not look anything like Quentin would expect a tattoo artist to look like. There was maybe a hint of punkiness in the shape of his hair, it sort of put Quentin in mind of a rockabilly thing, almost? With the height and the artfully dangling curls and all. But his long, lanky form was wrapped in a crisp white button-down and tan waistcoat, and as he came out from behind the counter to show Quentin to a binder, he revealed matching slacks. For a pop of color, he was wearing a forest-green tie that brought out the green in his eyes.
Not that Quentin had been looking, or anything.

Quentin had expected to feel more remorse. Other people wouldn't understand, and he wished they would, but he was doing what he had to do. He was protecting himself and Eliot and their friends. The whole world. The monster had to be stopped, by any means necessary. Such a creature could not be allowed to live, and Quentin was doing what was necessary. That was all.
If they had to crack a few eggs, well, the last few months had taught him that that was the name of the fucking game.

When Quentin got dragged out of the house in the middle of the night, he'd at least still been up, so he still had his binder on and that was fine. Margo roofie-ing him had also happened while he was awake and fully dressed, and when he woke up in the woods, or wherever he'd really been, his clothes didn't appear to have been touched or messed with at all, so that was fine too.
There was no avoiding it this time. Quentin knew, they all knew, what 'bare yourself' meant, and he was in a blind fucking panic.
