The world spins. Byleth staggers, vision quickly fading at the edges. A dull aching pain in her chest suddenly rises to a crescendo, as if it were her own body speared by her sword. Claude’s voice fades behind her, crying out her name. But Byleth feels herself fading in that instant, eyes turning up to the bright blue sky before it all turned black.
