Summary
This is how things are between them, he supposes. They fight, and have awkward interactions, but they don’t ever need to talk it out. Things just go back to normal afterward. Suguru wonders how long things will be like that. With every day that passes, he finds his sanity slipping a little more. He finds himself wondering what would’ve happened if he’d said “Yes” that day, had agreed that Satoru (his Satoru) should kill everyone in the Star Religious Group. He wonders if it’s too late to go back there and finish the job.
“You’re the best, Suguru. Always takin’ care of me,” Satoru hums around a mouthful of food.
“Don’t talk with your mouth full, idiot. Didn’t your parents teach you table manners?”
