Mingyu scoffed because he knew all too well that Wonwoo meant more than just that. The older has a habit of keeping things short, but he did not probe any further and just contentedly hummed; his eyes landed on their still intertwined hands. This night was different, Mingyu felt a little braver than usual and so he went to what his instincts told him, ‘Screw it!’ he thought and brought Wonwoo’s hand to his lips, his eyes closing as he savoured the tender and chaste kiss he gave it.

So, you can imagine Wonwoo’s surprise when, on a regular Wednesday morning, Wonwoo is making a cup of tea in the office break room and the door slams open against the wall and a heaving, sweaty, panicked Mingyu busts through the doorway and shouts, “YOU NEED TO COME WITH ME RIGHT NOW AND PRETEND TO BE MY BOYFRIEND.”
